Fixed Scope. Fixed Price. No Surprises.

A Forma engagement,
explained.

Every project runs the same way. Here's exactly what happens, from the first call to the live system. No black box, no surprises.

Why Airtable

The platform is proven.
The question is who builds on it.

Airtable is the most flexible operations platform available. Here's why it's the right foundation — and why implementation quality is everything.

Flexible by design
Builds around your workflow, not the other way around. Tables, fields, views, and interfaces that match how your team actually moves work — not how a template assumes it does.
Automates without developers
Multi-step automations, API integrations, and triggered workflows — built in. No code, no IT ticket, no waiting six months for engineering capacity.
Replaces the tool pile
CRM, project tracker, ops dashboard, client portal — one platform, properly connected. Four tools that never talked to each other become one system that does.
You own it completely
No black box. No vendor dependency. When the engagement ends, the system is yours to run, edit, and expand — no permission needed from anyone.
The Process

Six phases.
Two weeks to ship, on average.

The whole engagement, broken down. Every phase has a clear deliverable and a clear handoff. You always know where you are.

1
Discovery Call
Day 1 · 30 min · Free

A real conversation. You tell us where your operations feel broken. We ask the questions most teams don't think to answer. If Airtable isn't the right fit, we say so and point you somewhere better.

You walk away with
A short written recap of what we heard, what we'd build, and whether to move forward. Even if you don't hire us, you keep this document.
2
Discovery
Days 2–5

We map how your team actually moves work through the day, not how the org chart says it does. We look at your existing tools, your spreadsheets, your email threads, your handoffs. We find the leaks.

Deliverable
A plain-English brief covering how work moves through your team, where the gaps are, and what we'd prioritize building first. You approve this before we touch anything.
3
Architecture Proposal
End of Week 1

We show you the system before we build it: tables, fields, automations, forms, and any integrations. Scope is locked in writing. Price is fixed.

4
Build
Weeks 2–3

The base, the automations, the integrations, the interfaces — built to the approved design. Nothing is added or changed without a conversation first. Once the build is complete and passes our internal QA checklist, we reach out to walk you through the working system before anything is considered done.

5
Review and Handoff
Final Week

When everything is approved, we hand it off. You get a written SOP, an End of Service Report, and full ownership of your workspace.

6
Optional · Ongoing Support
Monthly retainer

Most clients take the base and run with it. Some prefer to keep Forma on hand for the next round of changes, new integrations, or training new hires. Monthly retainers start after handoff, only if you want one.

Honest Answers

Not sure if Forma
is right for you?

"I don't know what I actually want built yet."

That's what Phase 1 and 2 are for. Most clients arrive with a vague sense of "the spreadsheets aren't working anymore" and leave the discovery phase with a concrete list of three things they didn't realize were breaking. You don't need to arrive with a spec.

"We already started building in Airtable and it's a mess."

Common. We see this weekly. The audit phase covers a rebuild scope: what's salvageable, what needs to be restructured, and whether to migrate in place or start clean. We'll tell you honestly which is cheaper.

"My team has never used Airtable."

Most of our clients haven't. We build the system to be readable by people who've never touched a database. The handoff covers exactly how everything works, and we don't close out until your team is comfortable with it.
